Csystophone, “invented” by Bamadas Chatterjee, a research scholar of Calcutta University, was the preeminent indigenous talkie equipment. Csystophone talkie reproduction machine was based on Chatterjee-Sono-System and was installed at Chabbighar and Rupabani theaters.
